Pat Huff greets parade of friends wishing him a happy 90th birthday.

Wednesday, April 15, friends and associates formed a cavalcade of vehicles and drove past the home of Pat and Elsa Huff, wishing him a happy 90th birthday.

Among those who participated included Billy Simpson, who drove one of the lead cars in the ad hoc parade. Simpson, along with James F. Clements, who also participated, are Bartow city commissioners, as was Huff, who served as as a commissioner 18 years.

Others included members of the Bartow Kiwanis Club, a civic organization Huff has been a longtime member of and has served twice as it's president; fellow church members from First United Methodist Church; and friends from various walks of life.
