Bartow Inches Back to Second Place in Census Response

After dropping to as low as fourth place, the City of Bartow has inched its way back into second place in the census challenge, lagging behind Polk City, which has maintained its first place status from the beginning of the challenge.

For this past week, Polk City has had a 60.8 percent response rate. Bartow lags at 60.5 percent, with Auburndale nipping at the City of Oaks and Azaleas' heel, at 60.4 percent. These three municipalities are the only ones to break into the 60.0-plus range.

Once more, Lake Hamilton secures the bottom spot, with a 14.4 percent return.
