You Load Nearly 11,000 Pounds of Food, What Do You Get...?

You get gratitude, smiles, and in some cases, tears.

And granted, like the Tennessee Ernie Ford classic song "Sixteen Tons," the people in vehicles that lined up this past Thursday, May 14, at the Bartow Church Service Center definitely did get another day older, and perhaps deeper in debt. But they also came away with something better: Food. Free food. Plenty of it, and definitely a Godsend.
