Peaceful protesters hold signs aloft

By noon, Saturday, June 20, approximately 50 people began marching from the county courthouse, through downtown Bartow and East Main Street, before arriving at their final destination, the field across the street and from the L.B. Brown House Museum. Their peaceful march and rally was a continuation of the call for justice and eradication of racism, which was spurred more than a month ago by the death in Minneapolis of George Floyd, who was choked to death by a police officer.
