Sorority Delivers Educator Boxes for Adopt-A-School Initiative

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is a community conscious, action oriented organization. The Gamma Phi Zeta Chapter of Polk County, through service within the community and the international initiative of Zetas Helping Other People Excel (Z-HOPE), have identified five (5) schools for their Adopt-A-School initiative.

• Zone 1 – Greater Lakeland – Kathleen Middle School

• Zone 2 – South Lakeland/Mulberry/Bartow – Gibbons Street Pre K Center

• Zone 3 – Davenport/Haines City – Sandhill Elementary School

• Zone 4 – Lake Wales/Frostproof – Ben Hill Griffin Jr. Elementary School

• Zone 5 – Winter Haven/Auburndale – Bethel's Christian Academy

During the week of Sept. 23-25, educator boxes were delivered to the identified schools containing masks, hand sanitizers, cleaning wipes, water and snacks.

Thank you to the following Zone Leaders who assisted with carrying out this initiative and will continue to provide service to the Adopt-a-School until the end of the school year; Erica Griffin Gardner, Yaniece Liston, Chandra Todd, Takia Nowell, Dr. Lorine Smith and Phyllis Cook.
